Agent Workplace

Agent Workplace

At Anywhere Real Estate, I helped build the MVP for Agent Workplace, an all-in-one productivity app meant to help real estate agents manage their clients. The app organizes agents' contact, marketing, transaction management, to-do lists, and analytical tools into one powerful Flutter app. Additionally, the app features an AI assistant that allows for quick and easy lookup of key real estate data and sending of contact messages to clients. On this app, I worked primarily on building the UI for workstreams, a feature that guides agents from early lead nurturing all the way to closing deals, as well as agents' to-dos. I also have worked heavily on the AI assistant, upgrading the UI code and business logic behind it to adapt to frequently-changing capabilities and functions in the models that power the chatbot.

In-Vehicle Infotainment System

In-Vehicle Infotainment System

During my time at Very Good Ventures, I contributed to building the in-vehicle infotainment system for new Toyota vehicles. The system is a Flutter app embedded on a Linux headunit, that communicates with vehicle services and other APIs using a Rust interface layer. During my time on the project, I worked primarily in media, building functionality for playing and managing streaming services such as Spotify and Amazon Music. I also built the system's primary list component, and built complex custom logic to comply with regulations on how much users can scroll the lists while driving.

FlutterCon USA 2024

FlutterCon USA 2024

In September of 2024, I co-presented a talk at FlutterCon USA in New York, titled "Supercharging Development with Full Stack Dart and AWS." The talk focused on how teams can move faster by using Dart Frog, a minimalist package that allows running simple server apps in Dart (similar to express.js or Django), with an AWS cloud environment. I demonstrated a sample setup of a simple fullstack project, with a Flutter app that called a Dart Frog server, which in turn deployed directly to the cloud via AWS Amplify. The talk was an excellent opportunity to showcase the flexibility of Flutter and Dart beyond simple mobile app development.
